A special meeting of the shareholders in Gaming Innovation Group Inc. was held in Oslo. Shareholders representing 68.6 per cent of the shares entitled to vote were present in person or by proxy, see attached minutes.

The proposal to increase the Corporation's authorized shares from seven hundred and fifty million to nine hundred and fifty million shares of common stock stated in the notice to the meeting were adopted.

Further, Mr. Andre Lavold was elected as new member to the board, increasing the board to five members as follows; Helge Nielsen (chairman), Jon B. Skabo, Morten Soltveit, Kjetil Myrlid Aasen and Andre Lavold.

Andre Lavold is Partner & Co-founder at Optimizer Invest. As a repeat entrepreneur and angel investor, Lavold has launched, grown and sold leading Scandinavian gaming operations such as Betsafe.com, Nordic Gaming Group and Betit Group. He has two decades of experience within the online gaming industry in various roles including Chief Executive Officer, Executive Chairman, Chief Strategy Officer and Business Development Director. Among current assignments, Andre Lavold is board member of Catena Media P.L.C. Lavold currently owns 1,500,000 shares in GIG through his investment company. In addition, Lavold is indirectly a shareholder in Betit Holdings Ltd. and will receive shares in GIG following completion of the acquisition of Betit Holdings Ltd. (ref. announcement on 17 August 2016).
