What you will be doing:
As a Senior QA Analyst you will be part of a global QA team, and you will be responsible for product software quality and will drive the automation effort which includes design and development of unified automation framework that covers client and server components. Senior QA Analyst focuses on developing automation and manual test cases to identify software problems and their causes during software development cycles.
- Perform functional branch testing, release testing, and exploratory testing;
- Develop automation test design of user scenarios, test cases, and checklists;
- Collaborate with the software development team regarding the deployment process
- Understand and analyze product requirements and communicate with the Product team
- Determine and meet time estimates and schedules for testing efforts;
- Discover defects in the early development stage, report and track their status;
- Develop ideas for software testing and the procedures to perform those tests.
- Refactoring and extending frameworks and a set of automated tests, if necessary.
- Provide reports and document technical information in the Jira tracking tool
- Collaborate with other QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans to ensure code quality;
- Coaching junior QA colleagues.
Who we are looking for:
- 3+ years of Test Automation experience
- Solid QA background and have been involved in Quality assurance for at least 3-5 years;
- Familiarity with Playwright framework is desirable
- Programming skills (preferably in JavaScript)
- Experience in performance, stress, functional, compliance, and acceptance testing;
- Degree in computer science or experience to match;
- Code repositories (Git);
- Continuous integration tools are an advantage;
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases;
- Well-versed in Agile development methods
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
