06 February, 2017Gaming Innovation Group Inc.’s (“GIG”) B2B segment continued its growth and had all time high revenues in January. The B2C segment saw a small decline compared to the previous month.
GIG Gaming
Gross gaming revenue (GGR) decreased in January for GIG’s six gaming sites,. Total deposits were EUR 22.7 million, a 2.6% decrease compared to the previous month, December 2016. Margins obtained were 3.63% for casino and 8.3% for sports betting.
Total active real money players for the three-month period November 2016 – January 2017 were 176,273, a 3.9% decrease from 183,521 for the period October – December 2016. The decrease relates to the Betit brands resulting from the migration of these brands to GIG’s iGaming Cloud platform in November. GIG’s original brands, Guts.com, Rizk.com and Betspin.com had a 2.7% increase in active players from December 2016 to January 2017. Betit is expected to increase going forward.
Of the total number of players, 160,383 only played casino, 6,572 only played sports and 2,971 only played poker. The remaining 6,347 were active in more than one category. Free bet players are excluded from the number of active players. Total registered users were 1.54 million as of 31 January 2017, compared to 1.48 million as of 31 December 2016.
United Kingdom Gambling Commission has issued MT SecureTrade Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of GIG, a combined remote operating license effective from 3 January 2017, licensing GIG to offer both casino and sportsbetting in the UK market. Entering large sports markets such as the UK is an important part of GIG’s growth strategy. This licence provides an attractive opportunity for GIG to also offer sports betting to UK based customers – both for GIG’s own six brands as well as a growing number of white labels on the iGC platform. The Groups offer to its UK clients was previously limited to online casino.
Cloud based Services
In January 2017, one additional client went live on GIG’s iGaming Cloud platform, and a total of 26 brands operates on the platform including GIG’s six brands. iGC has 24 external clients signed, and in total 31 brands will operate on the platform. Of the signed clients that are not yet operational, two plan to go live in Q1 2017 and three in Q2 2017.
Digital Marketing Services
GIG’s affiliate operations in Innovation Labs continued its growth in January and referred around 4,100 first time depositors (FTDs) to own and affiliated operators, compared to around 3,700 in December 2016.
